The University of Canberra and Australian Catholic University have both improved their standing among the world’s top young universities in the prestigious 2017 Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings published on 6 April 2017.
Australian and International students commencing their studies in Canberra in 2017 will be formally welcomed in March at a special event by the Minister for Higher Education, Training and Research, Meegan Fitzharris MLA.
International students who have been awarded a PhD by a Canberra university can now apply for fee free streamlined ACT nomination of their Skilled Nominated (subclass190) visa.
The ACT International Education Strategy – Canberra: Australia’s Education Capital - was launched by the Chief Minister and Minister for Higher Education, Training and Research on Friday 2 September 2016.
