To help minimise the spread of COVID-19 the Australian and ACT Governments have implemented a series of restrictions on social gatherings and social distancing. View the latest changes to restrictions for Canberra.
The ACT Government has a COVID-19 website with daily updates, resources and support available for the ACT community. The website includes a dedicated section for tertiary students which summarises the support currently available.
Temporary visa holders and international students affected by COVID-19 who are ineligible for Commonwealth assistance programs may be able to access support through a $450,000 ACT Government support package. Please view Information for Temporary Visa Holders.
The ACT Government has announced Canberra's Recovery Plan - The ACT’s road map for when and how the Government plans to move out of restrictions.
The Australian Government has a COVID-19 official app with essential information and updates. Search "Coronavirus Australia" in the Apple App Store and on Google Play to download. The Government also has a dedicated WhatsApp channel.

Mental Health and Wellbeing
It’s natural to feel stress, grief and worry during a major event or pandemic – there’s never been a more important time to look out for one another. There are a range of support services currently available to all Canberrans including students. Please reach out if you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, it’s ok to seek help.
